MotoBatt MB12U (12V 15 Amp) 160CCA Factory Activated QuadFlex AG:like those who shop at our shop the team behind the company is energetic, open-minded and appreciates how fashion can form part of a modern lifestyle. Bought this for use in an '82 CB450 that is no longer my primary motorcycle but that I won't ever get rid of for sentimental reasons. Normally I stick with Yuasa, but they didn't offer an AGM battery in this size, so I figured this was worth trying out for the long service life afforded by AGM batteries. Since the bike doesn't get ridden much anymore, it spends most of its time in a garage with a Battery Tender attached - not a hard life for a battery. Purchased this battery in September 2017 and went out today (June 20, 2020) to pull the classic bike out of mothballs on a nice afternoon. Disconnected it from the Battery Tender, flipped the switch to run, and thumbed the starter only to be greeted with nothing but the click of a starter solenoid. Dead battery. Less than 3 years out of an $80 battery.For comparison, the AGM battery (Yuasa) on my other motorcycle, also connected to a Battery Tender whenever the bike is parked, has lasted 7 years so far and still tests good. That's the sort of lifespan I expect out of a quality battery that lives on a float charger when the bike isn't being ridden.In short, yes, this fits, and yes the terminals are handy, but the whole point of buying an expensive AGM battery is to have a long service life. It does not make any sense to spend $80 on a battery that doesn't last even as long as a $40 battery.
