Bamix M150 DeLuxe Immersion Hand Blender – Black – 3 S

Bamix M150 DeLuxe Immersion Hand Blender – Black – 3 S:like those who shop at our shop the team behind the company is energetic, open-minded and appreciates how fashion can form part of a modern lifestyle. Used it today for the first time to make mayo. The mayo came out good yet the process...My forearms and shoulders are hurting! The blender is very bulky and heavy, not easy to handle. Another problem - when I needed to stop whipping my mayo to check on something, I had to take it out and put on a plate as the stick is built into the blender and cannot be removed and left in a jar. When finished, taking what's stuck to the blender blade and the cutter guard was another challenge, again, the blender is very heavy and it's not easy to turn it around and try to sweep mayo off of it. Same with washing. On top of it, blender heats up pretty quickly.I'm not a weak person, I'm moving around a lot of pots filled with soil as I'm into container gardening. And I'm handling huge bags of soil, digging ground for planting flowers, cleaning, moving furniture, carrying groceries... But this blender seems to be built for a strong man, not for a woman.I miss my Cuisinart blender. Had it for 5 years or so and the whisk attachment I used for making my mayo had died. Decided to get something sturdier, Bamix looked appealing. If only I knew how much struggle it would be, I would have purchased another Cuisinart, even if it died in 5 years. I will try Bamix on soups and other dishes, hoping I would get used to it.I would appreciate If anyone has tips to make use of this blender easier. An update as of 04/08/2020Used Bamix to whip heavy cream. 1 cup was done in 10 seconds, I almost whipped it into butter. Hopefully, I'll get used to it and even up the rating :)One more update as of 07/10/2020Fourth month of owning Bamix, here are my latest experiences. Most of the time, I find myself avoiding this gadget due to the reasons I stated before yet I was not ready to give up on it. Made pureed soups twice, came out good, but not much difference comparing to my old Cuisinart, which I kept, and found myself preferring to Bamix.Blended gazpacho once, I like it with fully pureed onions and garlic and somewhat chunky rest of the vegetables; couldn't get it to the right consistency, so it's a no-go for this soup and I keep using small food processor to make it.Whipped cream came out not as fluffy as when made with a whisk or mixer.Somehow, had no luck whipping egg whites, had to use my handheld mixer to finish the job.So far I'm using Bamix only to make mayo once or twice a month, it whips up quickly yet I have mixed feelings regarding having such expensive and bulky gadget for this purpose only. So no changes in stars.Update as of 8/25/2020I have a big issue with Bamix heating up very quickly. I was making tiramisu yesterday, nothing fancy, have been making it for years, and the cream just fell flat as it got heated by this blender. Today my mayo was ruined for the same reason, it became soupy and unusable, have to rethink my dinner quickly.Sent message to the seller, will see how it works out and update on the issue.Update as of 09/06/2020Well, the seller answered pretty quickly basically saying that since the order was fulfilled by Amazon, the seller is not responsible for returns and replacements and suggested to contact the manufacturer and Amazon. At Bamix website I clicked on a link for support in the US and was taken to a website that didn't look it had any relation to Bamix, maybe, they were the ones who created their website. So I called Amazon explaining my situation. Kudos to them, with some minor hiccups, I was fully refunded for this unit.Meanwhile, I made my mayo with a very old hand-held mixer using just one out of two beaters and it worked great! The aerating blade is set at a slight angle for optimum performance to whip or beat liquids, even turning skim milk into a whipped topping. The blending blade mixes, purees and emulsifies thick or creamy mixtures so you can make homemade mayonnaise in seconds.
